One thing that my skin has desperately been needing is a good exfoliation. It has been rough and dry and full of black heads. I know, gross. The solution? The easiest, cheapest microdermabrasion you will ever find!
With just baking soda, water, and optional essential oils, you can have your own mini spa treatment. My face hasn’t felt so smooth in years! It is soft and clear after every treatment. I have been using this DIY microdermabrasion once a week, and it has been a godsend for my skin. I usually don’t exfoliate for the whole time suggested, but instead I let the solution dry on my face for about 5 minutes. You will for sure want to follow this treatment up with a good face cream. I love my shea butter for that!
Now, without further ado:
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon water
- 2 drops lavender essential oil (optional)
Mix ingredients together in a bowl. Using your fingertips, lightly massage your face using small, circular motions. Gently exfoliate the throat area as well. The entire process should take 5-8 minutes. Rinse with warm water and follow with moisturizer.
