Village Green Network

As I mentioned on Wednesday, I have been officially accepted as a featured publisher for Village Green Network, a community of healthy living bloggers. Some of my favorite bloggers are part of this network and I am so excited to be joining them!

If you haven’t heard of them, whether you blog or not, you should definitely check them out. They are an amazing resource as well as an extremely welcoming and helpful community.

So what is going to change?
Initially, not much.

However, overtime, you will see some changes around the blog as a result of me joining this network. I hope they are all positive or at least neutral for you. First, you will see some ad banners up that I am required to have for being part of the network. They shouldn’t be bothersome and I promise they will be for really great products!

One change you will see is in regards to my posting. I have been trying to be more active and consistent with my posting this summer, something that was easy to do while on my elimination diet. I plan to keep this up in the school year – no long hiatus like last year! However, I am returning to school in a week and a half and I do not know how much time I will be able to devote to this blog. As a result, I will be reducing my posting to twice a week – Mondays and Thursdays. I will always be prompt in responding to comments and emails, but this will allow me to focus on quality content, rather than relying on filler posts.

That’s another thing. There will be filler posts to promote other bloggers and VGN things. I strongly believe that anything I promote on here will be of interest to all of you. The bright side of this (besides hopefully finding products and bloggers you like) is that when I go abroad (7 weeks total over the next year), I will be able to post articles from guest bloggers, so you will still have content to read.

Beyond that, I’ll be playing it by ear. There is a lot I want to do. I plan on working on having more images in my posts so that they are easier to share on social media. I would also like be involved in social media, gain more followers, and maybe make some money (enough to be able to move onto my own site would be ideal). I’m not ready for any of that yet, though. I still have a lot of learning to do. I will keep you all updated on any changes that I am making. After all, it’s because of you that I’m here!
