Meal Plans

As you may have noticed, I put a page up under the “Health and Food” tab in the “Elimination Diet” category called Meal Plans. Early in this diet, I was diligent about preparation, soaking grains, and trying new recipes, and recording them all on a week-by-week meal plan. I did this for about 3 weeks, then I got lazy as I began to work and repeat meals as I felt like eating them. However, I still made the meal plans up, they were just based more loosely on what I ate, focusing more on foods added and then throwing in some ideas for other meals to eat. As I was mostly eating out of the freezer, there was no preparation to be done some days. I mention this on the page itself, but it is something to be aware of.

Slogging through 60 days of blog posts is a difficult way to get meal ideas (but would still be very helpful, I imagine). Furthermore, these structured meal plans include adding in alcohol and chocolate and tend to have more balanced meals (as opposed to the days where I eat the same thing for lunch and dinner). I hope this additional resource can be a benefit to you, either as something you follow or just something to get ideas from.
